“Mamma mia, here I go again
My my, how can I resist you?
Mamma mia, does it show again?”

At Delaware’s historic Strand Theatre, 28 E. Winter St., the answer is a resounding yes. It does show again.

Beginning Friday, the Strand will be showing Mamma Mia! The Sing-A-Long Version, where fans of ABBA’s infectious pop music are invited to sing their hearts out. Lyrics to the many ABBA songs featured in the hit movie will be printed right on the screen, says Kara McVay, manager of the Strand.

“Now everyone can sing as loud and proud as they want and know all the words,” McVay says, adding that the movie also was a crowd-pleaser when it first played at the theater this summer.

Special sing-a-long showings of Mamma Mia! are set for 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. Friday; 1:30, 4:30, 7:30, and 9:30 p.m. Saturday; 1:30, 4:30, and 7:30 p.m. Sunday; and 7:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

McVay also is offering two admissions with two small popcorns and two small drinks for $14 for the event. To print a coupon, visit the Strand online at www.thestrandtheatre.net. The coupon is good for all movies from Oct. 3 through Oct. 16.
